Dr. Gero has been a family
therapist for over 20 years, dealing with a variety of issues including communication; divorce and blended
families; depression and anxiety.
He has a tremendous background working with children and teens, first as
a Master Teacher for LAUSD for over 30 years, and as a therapist specializing
in the problems affecting children and teens. He is the Director of our Diversion Programs, which provide
classes for groups of court mandated teens. Classes include: Substance Abuse Prevention and Control,
Anger Management, Communication and Self-Esteem. Dr. Gero is also the Director of Tom Sawyer Camp in La
Canada. He has been teaching
groups of children, special needs children, and autistic children for over 15
years.
